i used a shard of plastic and some India ink to make some arroyodeathmatch themed stuff

A wicked visual interpretation of one of our songs. Thanks for thinking of us!  Beautiful work.

I finished! Here’s the sketch. This is a tribute to the song “Jagged Edge” by Arroyo Deathmatch.
I usually just draw people, so it was a bit weird for me to do this. I was worried it was going to look extremely boring, but it’s okay. I don’t love it, but it’s not as horrendous as I pictured it being. I’m still planning on making an embroidered version of this.

Arroyo Deathmatch

This is a sketch for something I’m going to both create an embroidered version of, and a regular inked version of. I just don’t want to mess it up, so I haven’t attempted the embroidered version because I want to be patient and have been super tired lately, and I’m worried a final inked version will fall flatter than my sketches, as usual.
Anyway, these are lyrics are from an amazing song called “Jagged Edge" from a sick band called Arroyo Deathmatch. Every lyric from the song is perfect, and I wanted to make a tribute to it in some way. In fact pretty much all of their songs make me want to create something to coordinate with it. I have a hard time finding any bands that talk about being straight edge, that I’m into, because most of it is the kind of hardcore I’m not really about. Thankfully this intense, folk band hits the mark for me. The art for their merchandise and albums is awesome, how they’re super DIY is awesome, their lyrics are awesome, and I could talk about them forever, but you should just go to their tumblr instead.

So cool!! We would love to see the final version of it.
